  • Millwork Project Manager

    Job Overview

    White Space is looking for an experienced, capable and responsible Millwork Project Manager, with proven work experience in the making of custom Millwork and FF&E for the Hospitality industry. This is a full-time position in the US, Reno, Nevada office.  

    White Space actively manages the global manufacturing of interiors for the hospitality industry, providing high-end custom-made furniture, casework and architectural finishes. From the Ritz-Carlton to Disneyland California, industry leaders trust us with complex projects requiring creative problem-solving across the entire sourcing and manufacturing ecosystem. White Space is an international company with various locations worldwide. We pride ourselves in utilizing vendors and servicing customers around the globe. Main duties include the following.     • Review, analyze and assess project and customer specific needs
    • Manage start-to-finish fabrication projects and document progress
    • Engage with factories and team overseas, plan project scope, schedule, resources and cost
    • Collaborate with Sales team on bid opportunities

      Responsibilities

      • Analyze project scope and pricing, understand project/customer unique needs
      • Plan out the entire project and create project documentation
      • Collaborate with customer, factory and team to get submittals, dates, finished samples and final shop drawings approved
      • Oversee purchasing and mockups
      • Oversee production and quality control
      • Oversee logistics and delivery
      • Work diligently, responsibly, in a timely manner and to customer’s satisfactory at all times

      Requirements

      • Skillful millwork/woodwork project manager
      • At least +10 years’ experience as a millwork project manager for the manufacturing and supply chain management industries
      • Knowledge of estimating, fabrication and install techniques
      • Willing to travel to China (~2-4 times a year) and in the US to meet with customers
      • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
      • Great team work skills, a true collaborator
      • Detail oriented, extremely organized and yet flexible to change
      • Worked in construction, hospitality, retail and or commercial spaces industry
      • Experience/willing to work with imports, working with Asia and other locations outside the US
      • Technology driven – AutoCAD, Plan Swift take-off, MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook, Dynamics CRM)
      • Familiar with AWI
      • Project management certification – advantage
      • Associates Degree, Engineering Technology or related degree preferred (Minimum educational qualification: high-school diploma)

      • Collaborate with Sales on project estimates to assure accuracy and timely submission
      • Collaborate with Customers to develop project SOW, submittals of finished samples & final shop drawings
      • Create and track project plan, including plan for budget, resources and schedule
      • Collaborate with project team to set up a ‘can do’ work environment and clear direction
      • Work with various project vendors to execute the project to meet customers’ needs
      • Execute assigned project management tasks and consult with management regularly
      • Work diligently, responsibly and in a timely manner to meet hard deadlines
      • Provide quality product and service, while maintaining a positive customer experience at all times
      • Create and submit project documentation on time and provide proactive correspondence
      • Manage customer’s accounts during and after project end
      • Availability to collaborate with international customers, vendors and team members
      • Travel may be required to oversee complex projects’ progress and outcomes
      • Participate in Company events and tradeshows, as needed

      Requirements

      • At least 5 years’ experience as administrator or project manager, working in the Construction, Hospitality, Retail, Interior design / Millwork industry
      • BS/BA Degree with an emphasis in interior design or construction- preferred
      • Project management certification - preferred

  • Bookkeeper - Part Time, Israel

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a professional Bookkeeper to lead all financial aspects of our Israeli operations. Our Bookkeeper will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all financial activity up to the balance sheet level.

The company’s capabilities allow it to deliver customized and personalised interior design, and at the same time providing mass-production product costs. White-space products are sold internationally and manufactured in south China.       Responsibilities

      • Manage all financial activities and reports up to the balance sheet level
      • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to track and monitor financial activity
      • Manage sub-contractors, compare vendor quotes and initiate cost reduction processes
      • Create clear executive reports, be strong at translating data into sharp & precise messages
      • Monitor projects’ budget progress, create project-specific reports & analyze projects profitability
      • Assist the company’s senior management in different administration tasks

      Minimum Requirements

      • +2 Experience in an independent Bookkeeping role
      • Experience in creating executive reports and summaries
      • Excellent management skills
      • Proficient in English

      Preferred Requirements

      • Experience in managing projects’ budgets - big advantage!
      • Experience in a small start-up / fast-paced environment - advantage
