Work spaces that work

At the heart of Tel Aviv, the Backstage Hotel's lobby is a testament to timeless furniture design, blending durability with aesthetic appeal. This space is more than just a well-designed area; it's a showcase of White Space's commitment to enduring quality. Understanding that a bustling lobby must maintain its elegance over years of wear and tear, White Space doesn't just execute design; they rigorously test materials for long-term resilience and beauty. For instance, to determine the best upholstery for their iconic curved pillow chairs, they crafted four chairs using different methods. These were then subjected to a week-long, real-world test by project managers, simulating extended use. The chair that retained its form exemplified the winning approach, marrying comfort with lasting elegance – a hallmark of White Space's dedication to perfection in furniture design for high-traffic areas.

Elegance in every detail: The silent work

To preserve the boutique elegance of our spaces, we meticulously address wear and tear. Our use of wood, metal, and firm, tight upholstery ensures rooms never appear 'sloppy'. For instance, we proactively modified fine side tables with sharp legs, a potential risk for scratches on wooden floors. Without prompting, we fitted these tables with rubber cushions, safeguarding the floors in all suites – a detail the client hadn't foreseen but greatly appreciated. This exemplifies our commitment to elegance and durability in every aspect.

Balancing Design and Security:

The Innovative Coat Hanger Solution

For a unique coat hanger design that complemented the room's aesthetic, we faced a challenge: the original, heavy metallic, mid-century style hanger was prone to theft. Proactively, we developed three new versions through detailed shop drawings, maintaining the original design's essence while ensuring the hangers couldn't be easily stolen. This solution showcased our commitment to both design integrity and practicality in hotel furnishings.
